Hi Kelli,<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
I am glad you are using HTS. I've been using it for approx a year and it is a miracle drug It really does work. It is the only drug that clears my lungs.
I take Ventolin neb first you call it Albuterol and I do the Vest after HTS or sometimes the vest and HTS. The Ventolin opens the airways and stops me from coughing. It is diffcult for the first few weeks but, keep with it you get use to it.
Just be carefull if you are prone to Hemoptysis. If the blood has not settled after a few days you should consider reducing to 3% HTS.
When I get an infection and have hemoptysis I stop the HTS for a few days until it has settled and when my sputum is clear I would start HTS. Occassionaly, I would have a small bit of blood in my sputum and it wouldn't cause any alarm. Just take it easy and I hope it works out for you. It works for me.
