Story I came across

In researching CF I came across a story about a soldier how had no clue he had CF. While in the desert he was drinking way more water than the other soldiers and was passing out during drills. They sent him to a hospital, couldn't find anything - he got redeployed. Same things repeated. Someone finally thought to do a sweat chloride and walla.

Yeah, I know. He must have extremely mild symptoms. I've been trying to get physically fit and build muscle mass for 15 years. 5 days a week, 40 min. I've always hit a "wall". I could tell I was working harder than anyone in the gym but with almost no results. For all my obsessive effort I seem to be at par with the average person who doesn't exercise. So frustrating! I just always assumed I was built different than everyone else (genetics). Little did I know that it was something very specifically genetic.
