My heads are always getting clogged from using them for other medications--pulmozyme, albuterol and I'm starting back on 7% Hyper Sal. Anyway, what I'm wondering is if anyone has ordered extra heads? Do you need a prescription? How much do they cost?

You can buy them from Foundation Care or whoever is providing you the Eflow but they are $350. Some people have said an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner worked to get slow head's functioning again. You shoud be getting one with every other shipment of medication too.

I get my cayston (and previously compounded tobramycin) through pharmaceutical specialties pharmacy and i usually just ask them to send me a couple extra and it's never been a problem for them to do that. so maybe just ask the pharmacy if you can get a few extras...
