Always sterile...I boil tap water for 20 minutes and keep it in a designated cup with a lid, then fridge.

I read two things over the past few weeks, maybe you guys know about, but the articles were about sterile water and not to use after 24 hours of sterilizing/storing because it "goes bad", also some Distilled water was bad and some people contracted B. Cepacia from the "bad distilled water".

I worked in a major hospital laboratory several years ago, on the night shift bored to tears, a co-worker & I decided to spec the tap water under the microscope......OMG, I have not had tap water since! Except for brushing my teeth...Creepy-Crawly...

I boil the heck out of my tap water, then add salt, and Grapefruit Seed Extract (Citricidal) for killing any remaining bugs in the water and in my sinuses. I use the mixture in a Neti Pot and have found that it eliminates my sinus headaches and infections. I used to have them all the time (several sinus surgeries a year). But, I haven't had headaches or infections since I started using the neti pot 3 years ago. It also gets rid of the dark circles under my eyes!
