Moving... with endless possibilities?

I'm surprised only CowTown mentioned healthcare (yay GHPP), but that is one big reason I suggest trying CA out. I don't know what other states offer, but CA has an insurance plan specifically for people with genetic diseases and I've never heard of anyone being turned down for it. Even if you're super healthy, you never know what unexpected setbacks might arise, and it would really suck to be in a situation where you needed some serious medical care and had no health insurance.

Yes, healthcare is definitely my biggest concern. I would TOTALLY love to just move to a completely random city for six months, then move to another completely random city for six months, but healthcare kind of... makes that difficult.

Jamie I don't think your PM went through :-(

Now I've heard mixed things about California's health care, that's one of the big reasons I was originally thinking about moving there, but I've heard mixed messages. How hard would it be to get on it if I just moved there from the east?
