First of all welcome to our family! I think most of us have all dealt with depression at some point.
I remember one time telling my husband at our kitchen table that I was scared. I have had times where I have been blue, but this one time it went on & on & on and I looked at him one day & said I think I am cracking up. It did pass without therapy or meds, but it scared me.
This time of year I think we are more prone to it also. If you live in an area as I do where the snow has set it & you are kind of stuck inside more. Holidays are around us & although for me the holidays are great it still brings a bit of sadness.
Then the fact that you are sick enough to be in the hospital is probably the final thing.
Please realize this is all normal & I completely understand you not wanting to hear "things will be ok".
I wont tell you that, but will tell you that we are hear to listen. So if you need to vent, cry, scream we will listen with sympathy, empathy and any other "thys" there are <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">
