SD - The two hour number is from an oral glucose tolerance test. If you haven't had one lately... get thee to thy CF doc and ask them why they aren't following CFF guidelines and subjecting you to one every year.

Who knows why they haven't given me one. Maybe because my numbers were still within normal levels, but high normal levels? Dunno. Last time I had my glucose levels checked non fasting, I was an 80.

Hey
I tried cinnamon bark when I started my first round of supplements, and my blood sugar was crazy. I stopped the cinnamon and the arginine, and it seemed to stabilize. I was also taking red wine extract at that time, and i restarted taking it lately, so maybe that could be it too.

I'm gonna stop taking garlic, passionflower, ALA, etc, and stick to the main things like curcumin, NAC, my good multivitamin and probiotic and see what my blood sugars are in a few days. If not, then i will quite everything altogether then check them out. I know they have been high in the past, but never this high. I'm hoping it's the passionflower and red wine extract.

I don't eat sugars at all practically, and the only sweet things in my diet right now would be the boost plus. I'm sure my docs are gonna wanna start me on something like gluconorm at first...and then probably insulin if that doesn't help.

Bah. I know it's not the end of the world, but this is one of the things that I really really did't want to have to deal with. I'm really glad though that this site exists, and i am definitely a lot stronger as a result of all of you.

Take care,
Kiel

Man i don't get it. Most of the stuff I am taking is supposed to LOWER blood glucose levels. What about stress. Do you think stress can make blood glucose levels go that high?

Grrrr
