We got our new Devilbiss air compressor and have been doing TOBI with it. It has been 3 days. It takes us about 30 minutes for a 5ml ampule....is that right? All equipment pieces are new including the PARI nebulizer and the air compressor.....

How long does it take for you guys?

Hi, I am not surprised by it taking about 30 min. I think my daughter, Rachel's machine takes about 20 or so. At the moment I can't recall the name of her machine. You're right at about the amount of time we've experienced. If they are a "lazy" breather, it may take a little longer. Meaning, if they aren't concentrating on breathing in and breathing out and are just breathing regularly. We've had it take longer when they are not concentrating.

Hope that helps.

The average time for a Pari to nebulize Tobi is about 23 minutes, so that's definitely a little longer than normal, but it doesn't surprise me. When I used to use a Pari it took me about 25 minutes.

Sounds about right. Our first pari it took 45-50 minutes -- brand new machine & neb cups and we didn't KNOW we had a faulty compressor. Ugh! For us, usually about 23 with the devilbiss and 25 with the pari proneb ultra II -- when it starts sputting, then you can stop, otherwise it can continue sputtering for another 5-10 minutes.
