its so humid where i live (NC) in the spring and summer seasons but the fall and winter are not bad at all for breathing. I have the hardest time in the humidity though...i seem to have and easier time breathin when its cold, even REALLY cold--which being from NC it doesn't ever get REALLY cold at least not in comparison to some places up north! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I like it somewhere in between. Sometimes the cold crisp air does feel good, but it also sometimes causes me to cough a lot. Really depends. If i start shivering from being cold, i will wind up coughing almost uncontrollably ( which i HATE). As long as i am not shivering i am usually ok. Now i love warmer weather. That seems easiest to breathe in as long as there isnt a lot of humidity. Humidity makes it pretty difficult to breathe sometime.

Yes - I know for me (and my CF team has confirmed) really cold air can cause bronchospasms... just like eating an really cold ice pop can!

I'm not sure whether it's hot or cold with me or more like dry or humid. Too extreme dry or humid air is never comfortable!!

Ohhhh. What feels reeeeally good is going out and breathing in the damp air after it rains - allergens washed away, and not too hot. Also, the moisture in the air (if it isn't TOO humid) helps my lungs feel better if I've had hemoptysis the night before.
