Not sure about the calcium, although a year ago doctors found that I was really low in vit D and couldn't figure out why (docs only suspecting CF very recently). Seeing that calcium and vit D are related I should prob get it checked again. At the time the only thing that they could come up with is that maybe I was inside too much - people get alot of vit D from sunlight (which is balony because I'm outside constantly). They put me on 50,000UI of vit d for several months.

You should have a 24 hour urine test. I have osteopenia in my forearms and wrists from it and I now take calcium supplements.

I rarely get headaches but my eyes do tend to be dry, which has contributed along with contact lense wearing to a few eye problems in the past. I have to limit my lense wearing and wear the thinnest ones I can find. Maybe dry eyes have something to do with dehydration, don't know. My skin gets so dehydrated that nurses have had difficulty piercing it to draw blood. I'm more careful about drinking water now that I know I have CF.
