Just introducing myself.

I've written a couple of things on here just recently, "when" and "what if" and because of the responses i decided to join just for the company and understanding that you guys seem to give so freely. Thanks for the responses in those posts, i read and felt every single one.

A little about me:

I'm 32 years old and my partner is 31, she has C.F. and has had a double lung transplant....i am very new to the world of Cystic Fibrosis as we met just a few months ago.

Just really want to use this place as an avenue for "venting". I love to write poetry, well, my form of it anyway....so mostly you'll only really get that from me, but am always keen to meet new people and am an open book...anything you'd like to ask please do.

Hi Welcome and I look forward to seeing more of your posts.
I just found this site a few weeks ago too. It is nice to come here and find alot of people with similar issues/questions in regards to CF.

Hi Pete and your Girlfriend

Congrats on meeting your girlfriend and that is great that she received her transplant. I had a double lung tx ten years ago and met my honey six months later and we have been together ever since. WE got married six months ago. We waited a little too long shall i say. I had to go through another transplant six months ago and he was with me every step of the way.

We got married July 12 and my transplant was July 25 little did I know. IT was kind of cool but we are going to have a wedding party this year and probably on the same day.
