Hello! Just wanted to ease your mind a little. I am 28w/cf and I have bad cases of hemoptysis as well. I have a two year old that I delivered via c-section. I actually had a wonderful pregnancy with no hemoptysis. I labored for several hours and then ended up with a c-section b/c the cord was around Reaghan's neck. I didn't have any problems with the epidural or lying flat, which often triggers my bleeding. Try to stay positive and don't let them talk you into or out of anything. It is still way early! You don't need the added stress of this. Talk it over and let the doctor know of your worries and concerns. My CF doctor and my OB worked very closely together via email and the phone. They were not in the same city, but things worked out. Good luck and if you want to talk more about it, email me. jeffandalaina@yahoo.com
