Hey guys...i`m a 25 year old male with CF...i recently moved in with my girlfriend and our house has a swamp cooler rather than a central a/c unit...i`ve been having a real hard time breathing lately...i do have a low grade infection but has anyone heard of swampys affecting a CF patient in anyway...please respond with any info...keep breathing...much love...Jeff-25-SoCal

We bought a portable unit once for a rental we lived in. It required constant cleaning. I managed to avoid moving to another place with a swamp cooler in place of central AC. Here's an excerpt from a wikipedia article:
