they were only about to get one or two piccs in my left arm so the majority of mine have been in the right arm and its definitly more "veiny" than the left. only on the underside though-the part thats against my ribs and then they spread over onto my chest. kinda weird...but you're not alone!

glad to hear you're getting to see a doc and that you've never had symptoms too badly! going along with sakasuka's post, i have those two exact gene mutations and have not fared as well as you over the years so i guess there really isn't any way to tell how things are going to turn out! glad...

i just got mine about a month ago and it itches sometimes. the skin around it is kinda irritated from the tegaderm when i had ivs (finished a week ago) and the incision is still healing and so that itches which is pretty normal i think. i've been putting vitamin e oil on it to help the scar...
