Hi Stefi, I am not sure about the maximum dose for Creon. But they do have higher doses, like Creon 24000 which would mean less pills. Is that an option for her? It seems that 17 pills is a lot for one kid to take at a meal. I take Creon 24000 and only need 3 pills with meals.

I know the CoughAssist is used more for people who aren't able to cough on their own (i.e. muscular diseases) - which is not the case with us with CF and probably why it is not used for us. The other device the Harriet is talking about (I think) is the Hayek external respirator. It works just...

Hi Caitlin, I'm so sorry to hear this is happening to you. I don't have any wise words of advice, but I sure do hope that this treatment does the trick and you'll be PICC-free for a long time. Just try to stay positive and take it day by day.

That's strange because I thought Johns Hopkins was one of the best CF centers in the country. I have only heard good things about them. But part of your disappointment I think is due the fact that it's different that what you've experienced before at your old clinic. That is what happened...
