OK lately I have had a really rank smell coming from there...I don't what it is, or why but was wondering if anyone else has? I wore a pair of shorts today and when I got home and took them off they stunk so bad. My underwear is grose too, I can't explain the smell though...just...foul. Egh. Any ideas on what I can do to stop it because its horrible and I'm so concious everybody else can smell it.

A certain odor is "normal", but if its this bad it sounds like maybe you might have an infection of some sort. Is there any pain anywhere? Get it checked out. I know...JOY!

really strong odors that are unusual or not your normal smell can indicate a bacterial infection, it's better to go to a doctor and get it checked out because treating a bacterial infection like a yeast infection will do nothing.

Amy, i think that is what Ashley means She says it's best to go see a doctor and to know if it's bacterial or a yeast infection cause you have to treat them differently. Right? Ofcourse it could be that i'm not reading it right but i sort of read it 10 times over because of your reaction, that made me doubt if i was right

This same thing happened to me many many years ago ( i think i was like 20 at the time). There wasnt any symptoms of an infection and my gyn at the time suggested i try a vinegar and water douche. She said not to use the scented ones just the plain ol'vinegar and water one and voila' it did the trick. But it is best to either see your gyn or at least call for advice just in case.
