Floaters in vision

Any of you have sudden floaters in your vision?
Like the way Diabetic Retinopathy is described?

I've always come out negative in the blood test for diabetes but I've always had diabetic symptoms (sudden ravenous hunger/shakes weakness in afternoon that I fixed by having afternoon meal). Intense floaters (as well as intense dry eye, and eye pain) started suddenly 2 years ago and is constant.

What tests have you had done for diabetes?

And I have some floaters too, and my eye doctor said I was fine, that it was just and age thing. Have you seen your eye doctor?

I've had very strange, sudden things with my vision for years. What do you mean by floaters? I'll sometimes get sudden lightheadedness/shakey and kaleidescope style stuff going on with the peripherial vision a bit blurred. Is that a floater??? I've asked be tested for diabetes b/c of this, but I'm always negative. It's frustrating, but I will look into what Diabetic Retinopathy is. I've never had an name to research for it.

A lot of times food helps me too. I don't get dry eye or pain though.
