We found out yesterday that I have a port infection. today my nurse came out to take more blood to see whats going on and if it has gotton into the heart. My heart rate has been high and they say this is why I have a fever. Please pray that it has not gotton into the heart.

I had a sputim culture done and I called to see what was going on with it and the nurse said that they where running sensitivity testing on it to see what will kill the infection. what is sensitivity testing?

I have a Vest System and I have been told that when my port line is in to not do any vest treatments. So I don't. do any of you use your vest system when your port line is in use? and if not then what do you use for airway clearance?

my doctor has told me that anything below 95% is low. and to use my oxygen when I get down below 95%. From what I have read 95 to 100% is normal. Also is 125 and over a high pluse?

I have lost over 15 pounds. I eat one very high fat meal a day. Tube-feeds at night and one tube-feed doing the day. What more can I add to keep my weight from going down? I feel to thin.
