My son has CF. He was diagnosed at 5 years old, in 1989. He was quite ill when he was in high school with recurring lung infections which required hospitalizations & IV antibiotics. In 2001, the CF Doctors said the next time he had a lung infection they would probably remove the upper lobe of one of his lungs. We had followed a faithful regimen of physiotherapy since his diagnosis. He started taking Mannatech's Ambrotose in 2001 and has NOT BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL SINCE!!! He went to college, graduated in four years, took a year off to study for law school exams & apply to various universities. He was accepted and went to law school, completing his juris doctor in the 3 year program. He is now practicing law. He & his fiance have just bought a house and will be married in August. He will be 30 in September. He has been taking Ambrotose faithfully for 14 years - no negative side effects. And again, he has NOT needed any hospitalizations or IV antibiotics.
